A recent development, law school
In recent years, despite the fierce competition and development dilemma, the law school has made some progress. At present, there are 1 undergraduate professional; 8 master (jurisprudence, legal history, constitutional and administrative law, economic law, international law, civil law, criminal law, procedural law); doctorate in law in 2001 economic granted the right to; Jiangsu province is the earliest legal master awarded qualifications and master of laws professional degree units. Law school is a German Law Institute, the Asia Pacific Research Institute, the crime prevention and control, study on the housing policy and real property law research center and 4 research institutions. Editing and publishing the "Nanjing University Law Review" and "German law forum" (the original "Sino German Institute of Economic Law Yearbook"), had great influence in the academic circles. Nanjing University Law School Students Legal Aid Center, relying on the law school faculty strengths, talents resources as well as their professionalism and expertise, was founded in 3 years, to assist in dealing with a large number of legal disputes, produced favorable social effect.
The law school has 13 professors, 17 associate professors, lecturers, 20 assistants. A group of young and middle-aged backbone teacher has cut a striking figure in academic circles.
