   "Criminal law" is a law education foundation courses.   Reporter: what is the main content of the Peking University teaching reform in the criminal law and outstanding characteristics? Why should this reform?
Chen Xingliang: Peking University law school "criminal law" course teaching reform is the main content: the new guiding ideology, provides a new way of teaching, create a new teaching content, and equipped with new teaching materials, strong teachers, promoting the teaching of criminal law science research progress. The knowledge system of China's present criminal law, is established on the basis of the criminal law of 1979, Yang Chun wash, Beijing University Law School professor Gan Yupei published the first generation of the criminal law textbook "general provisions of criminal law" in 1981, has triggered a major scientific impact. Today, the criminal law practical teaching has changed. With the substantial increase in the subject of law, especially the large increase of civil law and economic law knowledge, criminal law teaching hours is compressed greatly. In this case, how to complete the criminal law knowledge to teach their students, is a difficult task. Therefore, need to use some supplementary teaching, lectures, tours, in addition to increased criminal case studies and practical courses.   Reporter: so specific to the teaching practice, how to embody the idea of teaching reform in various areas?
Chen Xingliang: as a course in undergraduate education, from teaching content, should focus on the criminal law basic theory introduction and explanation, and the criminal law interpretation and teaching, teaching of science of criminal law that specification; in guidance of learning methods, should be focused on criminal law interpretation note, while taking into account the need to deepen and develop talent research high level knowledge, should be extended to the philosophy of criminal law, criminal jurisprudence direction; in the range of learning should be based on reality, Chinese norms of criminal law, in order to understand the sequence of events that law, and legislative trends, should be appropriate to extend the related contents of some criminal history and foreign criminal law. Chen Xingliang: teaching material is a prerequisite for good teaching effect. On the one hand, it reflects the achievements of teaching reform, on the other hand, the development of excellent teaching material can promote teaching reform. The "criminal law" teaching material construction course has formed the systematic configuration. The core material is my editor of the "law", this book is the content of the domestic criminal law textbooks with the latest and most complete, one of the most perfect system of textbook, collected from 1997 June to 2003 revision of criminal law are all effective legislative interpretation, judicial interpretation, in a crime writing style, the crime in detail, specific to three crime, guilt, crime quantity body of the traditional classification of crimes, hierarchy, outstanding key, in order to facilitate the students grasp and use knowledge.
