   USA various personal spontaneous nonprofit community organization (non-profit organization), one of the biggest influence, appeal most to have two kinds: one kind is based on advocacy (advocacy) for topic, such as the Association for the disabled, scout, Huaxia Chinese school, women's equality, Martin Ruud Kim civil rights of racial equality and so on, another is the occupation as the center, such as American chamber of Commerce, association of Chinese Lawyers Association, Wall Street, NSW women chamber of Commerce etc.. These community organizations often spontaneously organize various activities, because of their different interests and goals, content of course will be different, but most are organized every year to have a large fund-raising reception, to raise money for a scholarship to the generally poor, hard-working, have the achievements of young people.

    The various law association donated the reception season is the beginning of the June, the large bar association including NSW African American Bar Association (Garden State Bar Association), NSW Hispanic Bar Association (HispanicBar Association of New Jersey) and the Asian and Pacific American Bar Association (New Jersey Asian Pacific Lawyers Association), also known as "APALA".

   Last weekend, my husband and I joined the new African American Bar Association reception, below we posted some photos:

   Both the African American, Hispanic or Asian Bar Association, their purpose is to improve their own race in USA legal status. In USA, whether federal judge, or small town civil judges, are appointed by the government authority figures - President, governor and mayor nominated, considered to be appointed judges are not only excellent lawyer of occupation, but also is be of noble character and high prestige community character.

   Over the years, the vast majority of judges are white men, along with the social democracy, women lawyers and minority lawyers population increase, a batch of non conventional type, respected foreign lawyers talent showing itself, so the requirements to improve female judges, judges appointed foreign rate call also more and more high.

   A few weeks ago, President Obama nominated Hispanic offspring, federal judge Judge Sotomayor as one of the judges of the Supreme Court USA, establishing another milepost of the civil rights movement, the new levels of Asian counsel in African American and Hispanic colleagues to celebrate, but can't forget in NSW judicial bench, just sit there are Asian the judge only ever, Sue Pai Yang. In American, whether it is the fifty or sixty period of the civil war, President Lincoln's civil rights movement or Obama became the first African American History (or American) America president, equality of treatment is not social or government grants, but rely on their own to strive for, while the APALA advocated the concept is the first step we take!
